We need some help to grow our water engineering business and reach more people.


THE CHANGE WE WANT TO MAKE

We’re for people who love new neighbours. Our civil engineering unlocks more homes, more workplaces, more place spaces. We're for growing communities in way that reduces urban sprawl.

There are lots of opportunities for growth right in our backyards, and further afield. We uncover them.


WHO WE SERVE

We help architects and property developers find space for their design vision. Mostly we do this right now in Sydney, Australia. But these people are found almost everywhere in the world. And we want to serve them too.


WHO WE ARE

We’re 12 civil engineers in Australia, Yemen, Zimbabwe, Malaysia and The Netherlands.

We design water systems, roads, stormwater, flood modelling, earthworks, water and wastewater treatment. Our clients are throughout Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.

We also run a not-for-profit organisation--to which we donate around 10% of our expertise--delivering clean water and sanitation projects in the Solomon Islands.

WE NEED HELP

I've developed a successful sales process using cold calling and sales appointments (Zoom, more recently).

But its just me.

I need someone to help me scale this system, so I can grow the business. I mostly need someone to implement: call and book appointments. But I'd love to have my system further improved.


WHAT DOES SUCCESS LOOK LIKE

As a rough guide, success for me would be to meet 150-200 NSW-based architects in a year.  Say 4-5 appointments a week.

This would only take a few hours a week. I can make around 10 calls an hour (I know I'm slow) and book 2-3 meetings.

We have two in-house sales people who can convert the appointments. If appointment setting went well, we could expand this team.


WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Someone who shares our values. We love our work and the chance we have to give back through our not-for-profit.

But we're not out to merely talk and signal virtue. We want to make a healthy profit in our business to stay in the game. To grow and thrive.

We are not a big business but we know meaningful change takes time. So we are looking for someone with a good chance of a long-term partnership. To roll with our mistakes and join us as we grow.

We need someone who knows how to sell by cold calling. We don't care about years of experience. But we care lot about what you can do.

We do not have a strong in-house sales capability so we cannot train someone who doesn't know how to do it, no matter how keen you are.


REMUNERATION

A commission based component makes sense to me but I'm happy to take a proposal on this.
